Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage receiving, inspection, inventory, and tagging of supplies in the Materiel Service Warehouse. You will ensure accurate order fulfillment, perform ERP transactions, and support delivery across the hospital system while upholding safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma/GED, 3+ years in healthcare logistics, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three years in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management, preferably in healthcare.
Valid Driver's License required.
Experience with MS Office, ERP systems, and barcode/RFID scanning.

Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, inspect, and store incoming materials and verify shipments against documents.
Conduct quality checks for packaging integrity and sterility.
Identify/discrepancies or damage and initiate return processes.
Assist in unloading shipments using dollies and forklifts while following safety procedures.
Prepare outbound parcels for domestic and international shipping.
Maintain accurate stock balances and perform ERP transactions.
Support internal customers with timely, professional delivery of orders.
Coordinate delivery within Parkland Health and Hospital System and off-site locations.
