Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Logistics/Supply Chain professional for the Main Hospital Building basement. This on-site, full-time role ensures supplies and equipment are ready to meet unit needs, administers min/max levels and reorder points, and conducts daily quality checks to maintain an organized, safe supply area.

A minimum of 3 years in healthcare logistics (Parkland experience preferred) and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years in Logistics/Supply Chain in healthcare.
• One year as Supply Chain Apprentice with Parkland.
• Able to pass Basic Math test with 80%.
• Able to pass Basic Spelling test with 80%.
• Excellent reading and writing skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
• Familiar with SAP system for inventory and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Accept and validate incoming orders; verify packing slip vs PO.
• Perform replenishment and distribution in SAP with accuracy.
• Maintain packaging integrity, sterility, shelf life monitoring.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO/FEFO methods.
• Daily inventory of primary and secondary points with bar coding.
• Monitor par inventory levels and adjust as directed by leadership.
• Conduct cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Keep supply rooms organized; address backorders and substitutions.
• Review usage reports quarterly to adjust par levels.
• Communicate with Nursing Leadership and clinical staff.
