Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Supply Chain Distribution Technician to ensure supplies and equipment are ready, maintain par levels, and perform cycle counts in an organized, safe stock area.

You will use SAP for replenishment, verify orders, manage inventory rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and run daily barcode counts. Collaborate with Nursing Leadership to support patient care and maintain data accuracy in inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Must read and write.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
• Familiar with ERP inventory, distribution, and receiving capabilities.
• Pass Basic Math with 80%+
• Pass Basic Spelling with 80%+
• Proficient in basic computer skills; operate handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Accept and validate incoming orders; compare packing slip with PO; report discrepancies and replenish PAR levels.
• Performs replenishment and distribution processes in SAP with accuracy and timeliness.
• Process and resolve actions for issues/returns.
• Maintain packaging integrity, sterility, and shelf life of supplies; rotate inventory (FIFO/FEFO).
• Perform daily inventory of primary and secondary points using barcode tech.
• Monitor PAR inventory trends; adjust as directed by leadership.
• Conduct spot checks of on-hand inventory and identify supply issues.
• Carry out routine cycle counts and physical inventory; maintain organized supply room.
