Job summary

Parkland Health is seeking a Supply Chain Distribution Technician to ensure supplies and equipment are ready and available for hospital areas served. Responsibilities include maintaining optimal on-hand levels, conducting daily quality inspections, and rotating stock for efficient distribution.

You will work with SAP for replenishment and cycle counts, while ensuring safety and organizational standards are met.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of Logistics/Supply Chain Management, preferably in the Healthcare Industry.
One year of experience as a Supply Chain Apprentice with Parkland.
May have an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.

Responsibilities

Accept and validate incoming orders; verify shipment accuracy and report discrepancies for resolution.
Performs replenishment and distribution in SAP with accuracy and efficiency.
Process and resolve actions for issues/returns.
Maintain quality control of products, rotate inventory using FIFO/FEFO methodologies.
Conduct daily inventory counts at primary and secondary points using barcode tech.
Manage inventory par levels and adjust as directed by leadership.
Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory; maintain organization of supply rooms.
Address back-orders, stock-outs, substitutions, trials, conversions, and recalls.
