Job summary

VITAS Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Dispatcher to manage order dispatch to Medical Service Technicians using logistics software, and to optimize daily MST routes for timely ETAs. You will document exceptions, coordinate deliveries and pickups, and collaborate with service center management to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and proficiency with computers, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service, phone and interpersonal skills.
• Direct daily routing functions.
• Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• Two to five years of related experience.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Able to communicate in the English language. (Bilingual preferred)
• Familiarity with and ability to navigate throughout VITAS Healthcare service areas.
• Ability to work unsupervised exercising discretion and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch orders to Medical Service Technicians using logistics software.
• Monitor and optimize MST routes for timely ETAs.
• Document and follow up on order exceptions.
• Coordinate and schedule daily and on-call deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate with local service center management teams.
• Monitor MST productivity and address performance issues.
• Schedule routine cylinder refills.
• Answer inbound calls and adhere to call script guidelines.
• Assist in minimizing overtime through efficient MST routing and scheduling.
• Collaborate with managers to minimize lost equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested by ACCEL Customer Service Manager.
