Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multiple healthcare, life science, or core & shell projects in the Boston area. You will oversee staff, manage owner relationships, and ensure on-time, on-budget project execution with rigorous quality control.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years of general contractor PM experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to coordinate with architects, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction-related degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 10-15 years of general contractor project management experience.
• Healthcare, Life Science and Tenant Improvement expertise preferred.
• Strong communication, decision making, financial analysis and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and architects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-project management for healthcare, life science or core & shell construction.
• Manage staff assigned to the project and ensure quality, client satisfaction and profitability.
• Maintain relationships with project owner, tenants and professionals involved.
• Provide oversight for paperwork and administrative aspects of project management.
• Monitor schedules, spending and progress; report variances to the Director of Operations.
• Prepare and review project reports, schedules and financials for timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead weekly status meetings and distribute minutes with actions and owners.
• Review bids, procurement, invoices and change orders; ensure timely payments.
• Ensure safe and compliant project execution and close-out documentation.
