Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Boston, MA to oversee healthcare, life science and core & shell projects. You will manage staff, coordinate with owners and tenants, and ensure accurate, timely project documentation and execution.

The role emphasizes strong communication, financial analysis and relationship-building with clients, architects and vendors to deliver projects safely and profitably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Construction-related degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 10-15 years of general contractor project management experience.
• Healthcare, Life Science and Tenant Improvement expertise preferred.
• Strong communication, decision making and financial analysis skills required.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client and architect relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitors project activity including schedules and spending to ensure timely, quality completion.
• Prepares and reviews project reports and schedules per company guidelines.
• Facilitates weekly status meetings with owner, tenant reps, vendors and subcontractors.
• Disseminates information through internal staff meetings and enforces safety expectations.
• Performs final reviews of bid documents, procedures, takeoffs, and vendor qualifications.
