The role requires attention to detail and speed in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with flexible full-time shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on facility needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in kitchen or healthcare/behavioral health setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitation protocols is preferred.
• Willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification (roughly $14.95)

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment per healthcare facility standards.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and manage detergents and sanitizing agents.
• Hand-wash delicate kitchen items as needed.
• Dispose of food waste and assist recycling/composting per policies.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food prep and setup/breakdown of service areas.
• Adhere to infection control standards and health department codes; report safety issues.
