Job summary

Hygea Healthcare is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes strict sanitation protocols, fast-paced service, and adherence to infection control standards.

Starting pay is $15 per hour, with flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior kitchen or healthcare sanitation experience is a plus, and First Aid/CPR certification may be pursued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or healthcare/behavioral health setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and sanitation protocols is preferred.
• Willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification (roughly $14.95)

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food prep areas.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and ensure proper use of detergents and sanitizing agents.
• Hand-wash and sanitize delicate kitchen items as necessary.
• Dispose of food waste and garbage following waste management policies and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks and meal service setup.
