Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas in a long-term care facility. You will help ensure hygienic food prep and a pleasant dining environment for residents and staff.

Starting wage is USD $14.00 per hour. This position offers opportunities for hands-on training, teamwork, and growth within a healthcare services company serving communities nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
