Job summary

HHS is seeking a friendly, compassionate dishwasher to join Harbour View Medical Center’s hospital cafeteria. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and equipment, and support stocking and inventories by shelving and organizing deliveries.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, setting up a 3-compartment sink, and keeping floors clean. Full-time and part-time shifts are available; background checks and proof of eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform.
• Capable of prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and operating kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom.
• Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes.
• Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
• Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware; operate the dish machine.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors and clean high-traffic areas.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and assist team as needed.
