Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Training Officer to design, deliver and evaluate IT training programmes for staff, supporting the implementation of new computer systems. You will coordinate training across departments and liaise with users to assess needs and provide ongoing support.

The role requires a strong background in healthcare IT training, experience in designing and delivering packages to tight deadlines, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Design and deliver training and development programmes for staff.
• Conduct training needs analysis to tailor programmes per staff group.
• Ensure training packages align with project objectives for new systems.
• Provide support to Managers and Departments during and after implementation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out training needs analysis for each staff group.
• Prepare, design and deliver training and development programmes.
• Coordinate and establish comprehensive training to meet system requirements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and take corrective actions as needed.
• Support Managers during/after implementation.
