Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Training Programme Designer to design, deliver and evaluate IT training for staff across services. You will coordinate training for users of Lanarkshire Applications and support managers during implementation.

The role requires a background in computing education, formal training qualifications, and at least 3 years in healthcare settings, with strong Office skills and delivery capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must be educated to HNC level, preferably in computing and with a formal training qualification (IITT).
• Proven ability to design and deliver training and development packages to tight deadlines.
• At least 3 years in-depth experience in a healthcare environment and understanding of interdepartmental relationships.

Responsibilities

• Carry out training needs analysis to determine appropriate programmes for staff groups.
• Prepare, design and deliver training and development programmes to meet needs.
• Work with the Implementation Support & Training Team Leader and System Suppliers to establish comprehensive training.
• Provide support to Managers and Departments during and after implementation.
• Evaluate training programmes and adjust to meet user needs.
