Qualifications

• Bachelorís degree in computer science or Information Systems or 4 years equivalent technical experience in systems administration or related technical field.
• - or - Four years equivalent technical experience in systems administration or related technical field.
• - and - Three years of systems experience.
• - and - Demonstrated working technical knowledge of systems administration (hardware, protocols, standards, hands on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring tools).

Responsibilities

• Assists customers and management in setting strategy for current and future architecture related to technologies associated with systems.
• Mentors other team members to increase their skill and knowledge.
• Manages small and medium projects as needed.
• Creates and drives quality initiatives to improve processes and increase efficiencies.
• Assists in providing solutions to issues in all areas of technology related to systems.
• Identifies and initiates changes that continually improve a positive open team environment.
• Assists in the design and implementation of redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery to ensure effective protection and integrity of assets.
• Helps drive monitoring to reduce the risk of hardware failure, excessive resource consumption, and service outage.
• Makes recommendations regarding processes that can be automated. Suggests improvements to preexisting automated processes.
