Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Clinical and Health Informaticist to drive informatics initiatives across clinical systems. You will analyze workflows, design for software, and support HIT adoption with clinicians and vendors.

Responsibilities include liaising with users, leading moderately complex projects, and observing workflows across facilities to ensure effective technology-supported patient care.

Qualifications

• Understanding of clinical workflows and informatics in healthcare settings.
• Proven ability to engage clinicians through effective presentations and communication.
• Application of informatics fundamentals to quality and safety improvements.
• Experience leading informatics project deliverables and cross-functional work.
• Familiarity with major EHR platforms (Cerner, Epic) or other vendors.
• Training or experience in Continuous Improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform workflow and system analysis for clinical applications.
• Participate in implementation, training, adoption and process improvement of HIT.
• Liaise with business and clinical users and software teams.
• Lead moderately complex projects with limited supervision.
• Travel to observe workflows and assist with implementations across facilities.

Experience working with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors

Experience or training in the use of Continuous Improvement

Registered Nurse and other licensed clinical incumbents must hold and maintain current state licensure
