Job summary

Move Vertical is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide technical support to clinical and administrative staff across the health system. The role focuses on troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and peripherals in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include desktop and device support, Windows OS troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 assistance, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining asset records while following HIPAA procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HIPAA training/certificate required.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows computers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to document work accurately in a ticketing system.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with patient information.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and basic Tier 2 IT support to healthcare staff.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, deploy, and replace IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS and common business apps.
• Assist with password resets and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Support network connectivity and peripheral devices.
• Document troubleshooting steps in the help desk system.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT team.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding including workstation setup.
• Maintain accurate equipment and asset records.
• Follow HIPAA privacy and information-security procedures.
• Travel between facilities may be required.
• Perform other IT support duties as assigned.
