Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) in Newark, OH is seeking an IT Support and/or Help Desk professional for 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with Sat/Sun coverage and two weekdays off. You will provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and thin clients; log issues in our tracking system; and resolve or escalate tickets as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, has 2+ years in help desk or desktop support, and can work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years demonstrated work experience of help desk or desktop hardware/software support.
• Must live within 30 minutes from office for on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on technical support for all supported applications & hardware technologies.
• Enter customer issues into tracking system and resolve or escalate.
• Configure and install new hardware and applications; patching and account management.
• Handle on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Support Windows desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and thin clients.
