Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a diligent IT specialist to manage all IT needs across the organization, including installing software and hardware and supporting network administration. You will resolve IT issues to keep operations running smoothly and securely.

The ideal candidate has experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and strong customer service skills in a healthcare setting. Occasional travel between clinic locations may be required to support staff.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Installing new software and hardware components.
• Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demand.
• Assisting with network administration tasks.
• Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
• Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software.
• Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
• Assist with maintenance and updates to the organization’s website, including content updates, troubleshooting website issues, coordinating with web developers or vendors, and ensuring site functionality and security.
• Help maintain online forms, integrations, and digital communication tools connected to the website.
