Optum is seeking an IT Support Specialist in Presque Isle, ME to document issues, train users, and support system upgrades across the organization. You will ensure HIPAA compliance, manage IT assets, and collaborate with vendors for advanced troubleshooting.

The role requires 2+ years in technical support, hardware and software deployment experience, and the ability to lift 40 lbs. Travel within the service delivery area is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support experience.
• 2+ years of deployment, repair and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. and travel within service area.

Responsibilities

• Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems and assist in root cause analysis.
• Provide training or knowledge-sharing sessions for end-users.
• Participate in or lead small IT projects such as system upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and security policies.
• Monitor and manage IT inventory and spare parts.
• Collaborate with vendors for troubleshooting and support.
• Perform regular maintenance on systems and devices to prevent failures.
• Meet SLA targets for response and resolution times.
• Liaise between on-site teams and higher-tier IT groups.
