Medstation in South Florida is hiring an IT Support Assistant to join our clinic operations backbone. You will own first-line support for EHR/EMR platforms, maintain computers and hardware, and resolve connectivity issues to keep patient care running.

This on-site role requires hands-on problem solving, collaboration with clinicians and IT, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance and privacy for sensitive patient data.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or ongoing IT coursework.
• Interest in healthcare technology and patient privacy.
• Networking fundamentals: IP addressing, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
• Bilingual: Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clinic staff resolving EHR/EMR issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot clinic computers, hardware, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Set up user profiles and hardware for new staff.
• Protect patient data and ensure HIPAA-compliant practices.
• Document issues and track inventory across sites.
