ORION GROUPS is a professional services firm based in McKinney, Texas. We are seeking a Healthcare IT Project Manager to lead revenue cycle projects in enterprise healthcare environments.

This remote opportunity is hands-on, coordinating with internal teams, third-party vendors, and managed service partners. The role focuses on Cerner and Epic Revenue Cycle implementations, working across budgets, schedules and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects involving Oracle Cerner and/or Epic Revenue Cycle.
• Hands-on experience with Epic Revenue Cycle solutions, including Cadence, Prelude, MyChart and HelloWorld.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cerner Revenue Cycle solutions, including Cerner Registration, Charge Services, and/or XR.
• Strong understanding of project tracking and escalation processes, including workflow and technical understanding in the Oracle Cerner or Epic space.
• Experience working with healthcare operations, clinical, and business stakeholders.
• Experience with ServiceNow and project management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Lead team meetings, gathering and reporting status updates, tracking action items, managing projects, budgets and resources across the organization and vendors.
• Project-level strategic planning, interaction with executive level management, complex issue resolution, excellent communications and team building skills.
• Lead and coordinate all phases of project activities, implementing Cerner or Epic Best Practices.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, decisions, and action items to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, and issues.
• Forecast and track project financials.Facilitate virtual project meetings and ensure effective collaboration across teams.
• Manage project deliverables in ServiceNow (PPM), Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.

OVERVIEW

At Orion, we are seeking a Healthcare IT Project Manager to lead projects associated to revenue cycle within enterprise healthcare environments. This remote opportunity is hands-on, managing IT initiatives and collaborating with internal teams, third-party vendors, and managed service partners.

OPPORTUNITY

• Duration: 6-month W2 contract-to-hire
• Location: Fully Remote (United States – Central Time Zone)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
