The role focuses on managing service desk, data center and end-user devices, with responsibility for budget and strategic technology upgrades in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Networking Technologies related field or 10 years working in a directly related field.
• 5+ years in IT management and support of healthcare information systems.
• 5+ years working knowledge of client, network, server, virtualization, database, data storage, telco and line of business systems.
• 5+ years leading and managing IT projects.
• 5+ Years with IT services performance metrics and benchmarking.
• Knowledge of the integration of information systems in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of information services and technology organization, including help desk and data center operations.
• Directly supervise IT staff and oversee network, hardware and application projects.
• Develop and justify annual budget requirements and ensure cost effectiveness.
• Maintain knowledge of system hardware, networks and software, and pursue improvements as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and management to meet project requirements and regulatory needs.
