Job summary

XiFin is seeking an Implementation Project Manager in San Diego, CA to own end-to-end customer implementations of XiFin’s Empower RCM and related product solutions. You will guide projects from kickoff through go-live, coordinating cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure timely value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in project management, implementation, or program coordination.
• Formal project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in healthcare tech.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation efforts, ensuring customers reach go-live on schedule.
• Own overall project outcomes, including scope, timeline, risk, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive accountability across internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers throughout implementation.
• Set clear expectations, proactively communicate risks and decisions, and maintain strong relationships.
• Ensure customers are confident in both the solution and the process.
• Bring clarity and consistency to project execution with defined processes.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement across implementations.
• Partner with leadership to introduce scalable process improvements.
• Coordinate across product, engineering, operations and external stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
• Coordinate training plans, schedules, and readiness activities.
• Confirm go-live support coverage and execution plans.
• Guide customers through go-live and early production stabilization.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and milestone reporting.
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as appropriate.
