Job summary

Grand River Health in Rifle, Colorado is seeking a Digital Information Systems Help Desk Technician. You will provide user support for Windows and Mac, handle tickets, and assist with software and hardware issues, including remote access and on-site help as needed.

The role requires 0–2 years of experience, an associate degree in a related field, and on-call availability within one hour. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, with a strong patient-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Associate degree in computer science or related field.
0–2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
Familiarity with Windows and MAC operating systems.
Some application support experience, including virus protection.
Hardware troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

Field incoming requests from customers by phone, email or ticketing system in a courteous manner.
Handle routine issues such as password resets, account creation, access updates and device setup.
Document customer information and problem details in the ticketing system.
Record problem solving steps and perform post-resolution follow-ups.
Maintain equipment inventory and asset tagging.
Install desktop software applications as needed and create/maintain desktop images.
Apply patches and antivirus protection to workstations; escalate when needed.
