Job summary
Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Field Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair computer equipment across on-site and off-site locations. The role requires responding to helpdesk calls, performing printer maintenance, and handling network testing, cabling, and deployment of new desktops and peripherals.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in computer equipment installation and a working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, firewalls, and VPN, with
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in computer equipment installation, repair, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office problems.
- Experience installing/troubleshooting networks and wiring; working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, firewalls, and VPN.
Responsibilities
- On-site and off-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of computer equipment.
- Receive and respond to incoming help desk calls; printer maintenance and repair.
- Network testing, cabling, and maintenance.
- Setup and deployment of new desktop and notebook computers, peripherals, printers, software, and other items as required.
- Coordinate support between third-party support vendors and end users.
