Job summary

Netsmart in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Technical Consultant to design, configure, and support EHR and third-party integrations onsite. You’ll focus on reporting, data migrations, and ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and reliable during implementation and ongoing use.

Ideal candidates will have healthcare IT experience, SQL and HL7 familiarity, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills. You will engage with clients and engineers to drive data mapping and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS/CIS/Info Systems/Data Analytics or two years of equivalent work experience.
• 1+ year of healthcare IT implementation or consulting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement technically focused solutions for multiple EHR software solutions.
• Design, develop, and support reports, forms, interfaces, and related components.
• Consult with clients on technical designs related to reports, interfaces, and data structures.
• Support rollout of new solutions with technical setup, data migration, and validation.
• Lead data migration planning including mapping, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Engineering to improve logging, monitoring, and system performance.
• Lead client and vendor calls to drive data mapping and integration discussions.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data, and integration issues across environments.
