Job summary

Eisenhower Health in the United States seeks a Desktop Technician to provide technical desktop support for Eisenhower Health computers and peripherals within the Information Systems department.

Required: Associate’s degree in IT or 1 year of IT experience in lieu of degree; preferred: Bachelor’s degree. Must have a valid CA driver license and CompTIA A+ within six months of hire. On-site, full-time position with 40-hour work week and day shift.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Valid CA driver license; CompTIA A+ within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies.
• Installs, configures, and maintains desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, mobiles and other peripherals.
• Provides basic troubleshooting and support for software/hardware issues.
• Responds to help desk tickets and inquiries from end-users.
• Assists in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues (IP configurations).
• Keeps records of hardware and software inventory and documents troubleshooting steps.
