Job summary
Siemens Healthineers is seeking an Automation & Informatics Consultant to support MegaLab customers with onsite configuration, installation, training, troubleshooting, and post-implementation activities. You will work with on-site management and staff across shifts, handling complex system issues and coordinating with LIS vendors and middleware partners.
Ideal candidates have IT experience in a medical setting, knowledge of healthcare IT security and data privacy, and a clinical laboratory
Qualifications
- BS in Computing, Information Technology, Engineering, or related experience.
- Experience in Healthcare IT, security, and data privacy.
- Proficiency with required network applications and tools.
- Must have 5+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite configuration, installation, training, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support.
- Work with onsite Siemens Healthineers management and shift personnel to resolve complex issues.
- Perform software upgrades and updates; verify and accept installations.
- Train customer lab personnel on system operation and workflow configuration.
