Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an Application Manager to lead the IT&S Security applications team and oversee the design, development, and ongoing support of enterprise applications across the health system. This role partners with operational leaders, vendors, and clinical workflows to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience.
• Leadership experience supporting enterprise EHR or large application suites.
• Strong understanding of application design, configuration, implementation, testing, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for the functional application team.
• Oversee design, configuration, development, testing, implementation, and support activities.
• Understand architecture and evaluate customer needs to identify solutions.
• Translate business needs into system requirements and technology solutions.
• Partner with directors and SMEs to perform workflow and data analyses for system design.
• Manage application releases, upgrades, and testing schedules.
