Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is seeking an IT Applications Manager to oversee the design, deployment and support of enterprise applications across the organization.

The role directs staff and subcontractors, ensures effective resource allocation, and drives reliable IT services in a complex healthcare computing environment. You will lead initiatives to optimize workflows, manage budgets, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to align technology with patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in field related to Business, Computer Science, Informatics or Healthcare Administration
• In lieu of the degree, must have a minimum of 4 years previous management experience

Responsibilities

• Manages Operations for IT Applications: Assists with the design/implementation of efficient services
• Offers revenue enhancements
• Monitor expenses
• Benchmarks and encourage service excellence
• Provide effective communications.
• Manages staff and subcontractors to ensure IT value is provided to the organization.
• The manager provides overall direction and guidance of resource allocation to ensure service delivery to the clients served.
• Performs tactical day-to-day management such as project scheduling, work plan tracking, and risk and issue management.
• Oversee staff development
• Evaluate job performance
• Offer constructive feedback
• Discipline as necessary,
• Provides on-going coaching to ensure activities are performed within department and St. Elizabeth policy.
• Manages daily responsibilities/projects of the staff within the teams, appropriately delegating duties as they fit within the team structure and knowledge base of the individual.
• Manages, prioritizes and delegates tasks and projects within the department
• Develop, promote and maintain professional relationships to ensure an environment conducive to customer service and high-quality patient care. Makes recommendations in areas related to resource sharing, contractual agreements, and functions as IT liaison across business lines.
• Assists with the Creation, Implementation and control of designated operating and capital budgets including Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting of financial management tools.
• Assists in the preparation, presentation, tracking and self-reporting all threshold capital business plans
• Performs other duties as assigned.
