Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Information Services is seeking an Application Analyst to support and maintain critical systems across the NMHC environment. This role collaborates with teams to monitor upgrades, analyze issues, and ensure reliable software functionality while aligning with quality standards.

The position requires 2–5 years of experience in the core discipline; a Bachelor's degree is preferred to join a fast-paced, patient-first healthcare technology team in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in core discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain assigned services and systems.
• Works with team to monitor, analyze and plan upgrades.
• Monitors the production issue queue and resolves issues while maintaining SLAs.
• Executes project tasks as assigned.
• Adheres to quality assurance standards, systems development and delivery methodologies.
• Contributes to ongoing process to integrate end users requests with software functionality.
• Analyzes and provides recommendations relating to application build and functionality to ensure reliability.
• Demonstrates diagnostic skills to assist with problem determination and solution.
• Participates in on call rotation.
• Maintains application/technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
