Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings group is seeking an experienced Interior Designer – Healthcare to lead and mentor. You’ll collaborate with architectural teams to conceptualize, develop, and document interior design elements across healthcare projects, including space planning, materials, FFE, and documentation.

You will guide teams through BIM models and coordinate with consultants while ensuring code compliance and sustainable design principles. Travel may be required for projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design.
• Minimum 10 years of interior design experience, healthcare focus.
• Project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage small projects as prime consultant including contracts, invoicing and scheduling.
• Contribute to program development and pre-design efforts.
• Lead workshops with clients to define outcomes.
• Guide space planning, adjacency diagrams with building program.
• Develop interior design, materials, FFE and coordination with Design Architect.
• Ensure BIM coordination, codes, sustainability and accessibility compliance.
