Job summary

Actuate Insurance (AI), a Massachusetts Medical Society subsidiary, seeks an experienced Insurance Relationship Manager to service medical providers and healthcare entities across New England. You will drive revenue growth, build lasting client relationships, and coordinate with the MMS finance team on billing and reporting.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Massachusetts insurance licenses required within 90 days; Life/Accident & Health license within agreed period; professional designations (RPLU, CPCU, ARM, CIC) are a plus.
• Proven track record managing a book of business worth at least $600,000 revenue and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual revenue goals aligned with company targets for healthcare providers and related markets.
• Proactively engage with prospective clients and collaborate with the team to identify needs and opportunities for cross-sell and upsell.
• Generate detailed proposals, negotiate premiums with carriers, and maintain client satisfaction while achieving targets.
• Build strong client relationships during onboarding to reduce churn and increase lifetime value.
• Coordinate with the MMS finance team for accurate billing and reporting, resolving discrepancies quickly.
• Proactively renewals planning, assess changing needs, and tailor coverage options.
