Job summary

Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to support the Hudson Valley Health Care System, FDR Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Montrose, NY, overseeing EHRM infrastructure upgrades and design-construction delivery.

You will partner with COR, stakeholders, architects, and contractors, ensuring schedules, budgets, and compliance with VA policies and safety standards. This contingent role spans one base year plus one option year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or four-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology or Construction Management, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant construction management experience.
• PM certification (PMP or FAC-PPM) may substitute education with 5 extra years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all professional and technical services related to the VA design and construction delivery process.
• Represent the VA professionally and provide sound management advice on assigned projects.
• Monitor schedules and budgets to achieve best value and accelerate critical path activities.
• Identify and resolve project issues, minimize delays and claims, keep the Government informed of potential disputes.
• Ensure work complies with codes, regulations, standards, and contract plans/specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and develop consensus.
• Facilitate, manage, and document project meetings to keep stakeholders informed.
• Manage construction documents, correspondence, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare project management plans including communication, schedule management, QA, and risk management.
