Job summary

Planate Management Group is seeking a Construction Manager to support the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades for the Hudson Valley Health Care System, at the FDR VA Medical Center in Montrose, NY. You will provide on-site construction management, coordinating with the COR, stakeholders, and contractors to keep the project on schedule.

Salary ranges $100,000–$120,000 per year and is contingent on contract award (base year with one option year).

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Technology or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction management experience.
• OSHA 30 (or greater) certification in the last 5 years.
• Knowledge of VA policies and design standards; NACI/PIV eligibility.
• Valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittal reviews and ensure compliance with project specs and VA standards.
• Review schedules, milestones, workflow, and long-lead items for the project.
• Document RFIs, responses, and construction-related documentation.
• Perform field verification and maintain as-built drawings.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify non-conforming work for COR review.
• Prepare observation reports, sketches, and modification narratives.
• Coordinate with General Contractor and testing agencies for commissioning and closeout.
• Assist in change order administration, cost estimates, and vendor coordination.
• Support issue resolution and dispute analysis as needed.
