Job summary

SURGE Staffing seeks an experienced Implementation Project Manager to lead deployment of hospital-based pharmacy equipment and integrated technology. You will manage the full lifecycle of software-agnostic laminar flow hoods and biosafety cabinets with IV compounding software in clinical settings.

You will coordinate installation, training, go-live, and optimization, ensuring minimal pharmacy downtime while maintaining regulatory compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or healthcare administration.
• Proven experience implementing complex cleanroom equipment in hospital environments or managing large healthcare system projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead kickoff calls and optimization meetings across the implementation lifecycle.
• Plan and execute discovery, initiation, installation, go-live, and optimization with pharmacy customers.
• Serve as primary contact for project communication, status updates, and coordination.
• Install and configure hardware and software components across sites (computers, scanners, cameras, printers, gravimetric scales).
• Coordinate transition of equipment into active use with minimal downtime.
• Deliver comprehensive training and ongoing support to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a coordinated implementation and service experience.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workbooks, checklists, work instructions, and training materials.
• Maintain installation and service documentation for compliance with regulations.
• Stay current on product capabilities, cleanroom standards, and healthcare regulations.
• Assist with equipment placement services for additional product lines.
• Support on-site service calls as needed.
• Manage multiple implementations simultaneously, balancing timelines and client needs.
