Job summary

GE HealthCare’s MIM Software division seeks a Technical Service Engineer to be the first point of contact for customers, delivering tailored clinical IT support and expert remote diagnostics. You will collaborate with hospital IT, PACS admins, and clinicians to resolve configuration issues and optimize data sharing.

A preference for candidates in MST/PST time zones and 3+ years of hospital tech experience. Competitive pay and benefits are offered in the United States.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience within a hospital setting preferred.
• Computer networking, connectivity, and software troubleshooting experience.
• DICOM and PACS experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service through actively listening and anticipating customer needs with an empathetic mindset.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide unique solutions to complex customer issues and system set ups.
• Ability to work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Learn specialized industry-specific software and configurations to support MIM customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical assistance to hospital IT, PACS Administrators, clinicians, and clinical staff.
• Use remote technologies to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and guide software configuration.
• Perform software updates, upgrades, and system migrations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction at every step of the support journey.
• Share technical insights with product, quality, and management teams to improve software and customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to develop cross-functional solutions.
• Facilitate technical training sessions for team members and cross-functional teams.
