Job summary

CCHS is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support talent acquisition, candidate engagement, and onboarding during a temporary leave of absence. The role offers exposure to recruitment processes while partnering with hiring managers, schedulers, and the HR team.

The intern will post openings, conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interviews, and help manage onboarding tasks. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, with ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
• Professional, approachable, and comfortable interacting with candidates, employees, supervisors, and community partners.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employment information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Post and monitor open positions on job boards, the CCHS website, social media, and other recruitment platforms.
• Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate applicant and recruitment records.
• Assist with verifications and background checks as part of pre-employment.
• Support onboarding tasks and learner onboarding activities with HR and schedulers.
• Provide campus tours to candidates and new employees as appropriate.
