Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an Human Resources Coordinator in Lewiston, Maine to handle recruitment onboarding, background checks, I-Verify, and HRIS changes. This role supports staff with questions, maintains licensure reports, and assists with recognition programs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 years of HR experience required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills required.
• Strong computer and data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9/E-Verify.
• Processes status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes and get all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS.
• Maintains licensure and certification reports to maintain compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory standards.
• Assists with hospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions.
