Barton Malow in Richmond, VA is expanding its project delivery team to lead healthcare, higher education and sports & entertainment projects. The role focuses on managing procurement, planning, field operations, cost management and client relations across the Greater Richmond Region.

Qualified candidates hold a civil engineering or construction management degree and have GC/CM experience, preferably in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing GC/CM construction projects.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Procurement: Develop bidders list, bidding strategy, distribute bidding documents, pre-bid meetings, develop work scopes, draft front end bidding documents, evaluate bids, write subcontracts.
• Planning: Set up complex project schedules, site logistics, cash flow projections, constructability reviews, review estimates, mobilize jobsite staff.
• Field Operations: Establish safety plan, manage punchlists, labor relations, emergency procedures, coordinate M/E/BIM processes.
• Cost Management: Create and manage general conditions budget, set up budget structures, monitor costs, process changes, support cash management.
• Management: Facilitate meetings, ensure RFIs/submittals processing, office procedures, interface with architects/engineers, seek repeat business, respond to RFPs.
