Job summary

Barton Malow’s Tampa office is expanding our project delivery team with a Project Manager. The role supports a diversified portfolio across healthcare, higher education, commercial, and sports/entertainment projects in Florida’s fastest-growing market.

Responsibilities span procurement, planning, field operations, and cost management, with oversight of RFIs, submittals, and subcontract development. Strong communication and GC/CM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related discipline.
• 6+ years GC/CM construction management experience.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to support projects across the Greater Tampa Region.

Responsibilities

• Develop bidders list and analyze CPS data.
• Manage bidding documents and bidder tracking.
• Organize pre-bid meetings.
• Prepare front end documents for bidding.
• Receive/evaluate bids and conduct post-bid reviews.
• Write subcontracts (including professional services or design‑assist).
• Set up a complex project schedule and activities.
• Develop site logistics plans with the superintendent.
• Establish safety plan and safety culture at jobsite.
• Oversee project cost budgets and change management.
• Facilitate meetings with the project team.
• Manage RFIs and submittals by the engineering staff.
• Interface with Architect/Engineer and code officials.
