Job summary

Hillsboro Health & Rehab in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Medical Center Liaison (Director of Business Development) to lead census growth by cultivating referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and managed care organizations.

You will develop strategic outreach plans with the admissions team to increase referrals and position the facility as the preferred post-acute care provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare marketing, business development, admissions, or related healthcare sales roles.
• Skilled nursing facility, post-acute care, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, or hospital experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and post-acute care referral processes.
• Demonstrated success in developing referral relationships and census growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and discharge planners.
• Execute strategic marketing and business development plans to drive admissions growth and census.
• Represent the facility at networking events and healthcare meetings.
• Collaborate with Admissions to ensure seamless referral management and exceptional customer service.
• Analyze referral patterns, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth.
