Job summary

Horizons in Kennett, MO is seeking a full-time Specialized Receptionist who greets clients, schedules appointments, and maintains records and accounts. You will support the Clinical Manager and Program Director to keep daily operations smooth and ensure essential office functions are provided for the facility staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Psychiatric/Behavioral Health experience preferred.
• Healthcare technology experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform vitals and screenings per provider(s) request.
• Register/check-in patients for scheduled appointments and inform provider(s) when ready.
• Manage and monitor office supplies and budget.
• Welcome and greet patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone.
• Retrieve updated patient information and add to EMR.
• Contact patients to remind them of appointments.
• Adhere to agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
