Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills; patient-centered approach.
  • EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient check-in, scheduling, and records according to policies.
  • Communicate schedule changes to staff and physicians.
  • Answer phones, take messages, and direct callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Handle pre-authorizations for upcoming tests as required.
  • Maintain electronic and/or paper medical records per policies.
  • Manage daily tasks: messages, faxes, mail, and administrative duties.
  • Collect and reconcile co-pays within Epic.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and staff meetings.
  • Interact professionally with diverse patients and healthcare staff.
  • Provide cross-coverage and assist with chaperone duties when needed.
