Job summary

CityMD in Butler, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients and coordinate timely intake. You will register patients, answer questions, and ensure accurate data in our system, while providing exceptional service in person and over the phone.

The role requires strong communication, a team mindset, and comfort with insurance processes. Flexible, bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. $18.25/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in high-volume service environment preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Organize patient intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in system.
• Assist patients with paperwork as needed.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer calls courteously and promptly.
• Verify insurance and liaise with Billing as needed.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of waiting room updates.
