You will manage phone calls, cancellations, eligibility checks, and data entry, maintaining courteous service and accurate records. A minimum of two years in a healthcare setting and solid computer skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Skills in operating business office machines.
• Skills in answering the telephone in a professional manner.
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instruction.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

• Eligibility check and patient verification.
• Fixing charts/mistakes as needed.
• Phreesia appointment validations; cancellation/reschedules.
• Pre-registration of patients.
• Greet, register and assist patients promptly and politely.
• Handle ProviderFlow processes.
• Answer all phone calls and voice messages professionally.
• Verify insurance, demographics and signatures as needed.
