Job summary

Pearl Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a friendly Front Desk receptionist to welcome residents, families and staff with professionalism and compassion. You will manage phones, admissions data entry, and basic administration to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting, strong communication and organizational skills, and a teamwork mindset to uphold our high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in working within a skilled nursing, short term rehabilitative environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal, organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and residents; answer phones and route messages.
• Prepare medical records and enter data accurately.
• Open and close the reception desk and securely store files and equipment.
• Provide administrative support to Administration and department managers as needed.
• Update room and census; manage mail distribution in accordance with policy.
