• Register walk-in patients according to office guidelines.
• Enter and update patient demographics, insurance information, and records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage before visits.
• Answer multi-line calls, route to appropriate team members, and return messages promptly.
• Scan IDs, insurance cards, and documents into patient records.
• Balance the daily cash drawer and maintain payment logs.
• Process medical records requests in accordance with HIPAA and privacy requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
