Independence Health System in the United States seeks a senior finance leader to drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning across operations and initiatives. You will collaborate with system leadership and the FP&A team to optimize capital budgeting, monitor performance against budget, and enhance margins with robust financial processes.

Strong leadership, communication, and healthcare finance expertise are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field and five (5) + years of finance experience.
• Indirect or direct supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of functional area.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
• Requires demonstrated understanding and experience with a health system financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning, and other healthcare reporting techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitates annual budget process with leadership and FP&A.
• Leads and manages complex financial projects with leadership.
• Establish robust financial processes and protocols for operations, including forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee capital budgeting process for operations with leaders in accordance with WVU Medicine capital budget procedures and policies.
• Oversee ongoing actual-to-budget performance improvement and margin enhancement opportunities and communicate to Finance and operational leadership.
• Direct and evaluate financial processes to maximize efficiency in daily operations.
• Coordinates the completion of financial analysis related to and in support of new services, provider and staffing needs, and long‑term strategic initiatives.
• Oversee work and development of the relevant financial analyst team.
• Other duties as assigned.
