Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification or equivalent food protection manager certification.
• Working verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in a hospital or health care facility kitchen.
• Proficient with common software including word processing, spreadsheets.
• Experience in food service with clients/customers.
• Basic cash handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Secure food and related supplies to support all food services activities.
• Provide patient food service daily and assist with catering, retail, and procurement as needed.
• Cross-train in all food service units to cover supervisory shifts.
• Uphold food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Learn payroll and food service software to manage staff and systems.
